With a Liquid Facelift, we can improve volume, contours, and elasticity. Skinboosters and hyaluronic acid have proven effective here – in our practice in Düsseldorf, we additionally use biostimulators like Sculptra®. These enhance the skin-smoothing effect and skin renewal. Biostimulators are collagen boosters that build up the skin from within.

Liquid Facelifting is less suitable for pronounced skin excess or severely sagging skin. In these cases, we advise you on alternative procedures such as One-Stitch, MACS Lift, Radiofrequency, Quantum RF.

Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid has many facets. Depending on the facial area, we use more liquid, moisture-binding hyaluronic acid. For example in the area of cheeks and mouth. Or form-stable fillers to give the jawline or cheekbone some of its youthful contour back. For an aesthetic result, the right technique is also needed. The lifting effect depends on the choice of hyaluronic acid, the technique, and the degree of skin sagging. Important: With Liquid Facelift, it's about optical lifting effects, not volume!
Skinbooster
Skinboosters smooth crinkle lines, bind moisture and improve skin texture across the area. Suitable for sagging, dry skin. You see the effect immediately! Especially in the mouth area and on the cheeks. Particularly suitable for combination with biostimulators, Morpheus 8, HIFU or Hydrafacial.
Sculptra® (Biostimulator)
Poly-L-lactic acids stimulate collagen production over the long term. An effect that builds up over weeks. We often recommend this for declining elasticity and first visible skin sagging. Sculptra® can often enhance the effect of Liquid Facelifting and stimulate skin regeneration.
Frequently asked questions
How long does the result of Liquid Facelifting last?
Hyaluronic acid: up to one year and longer, depending on product, injection technique, skin condition and individual metabolism. Sculptra®: Results develop over weeks and months and can last up to two years. Skinbooster: Duration is between 3 and 9 months and longer. We recommend regular touch-ups and combination treatments.
Is the treatment painful?
Liquid Lifting is usually not painful. If needed, we treat your skin with local anesthesia (cream or lidocaine filler) beforehand. Since we use very thin needles in our practice, this is often not necessary. And after the Liquid Facelift? You are immediately presentable again. Minor swelling and slight redness may occur, but usually there are no unwanted side effects.
Can multiple substances be combined, for example hyaluronic acid and Sculptra?
In many cases, a combination is more effective than treatment with just one substance. With Liquid Lifting, hyaluronic acid and biostimulators can complement each other. Hyaluronic acid plumps the skin or ensures good moisture binding in the skin barrier, the biostimulator stimulates skin renewal from within. This combines immediate effects with longer-term skin regeneration. Results last longer.
How does Liquid Facelift differ from a surgical facelift?
The Liquid Facelift is not surgery, but an injection. The skin is structurally supported, as is elasticity and firmness. Wrinkles and sunken skin areas can be filled with filler for a certain time. The method is mainly suitable for slight skin sagging and moderate wrinkles. With a surgical facelift, we reposition the entire tissue and the skin is rejuvenated overall for many years. The effects are significantly more intensive as deeper skin layers (SMAS layer) are also tightened, but this is a surgical procedure. For severe skin sagging, surgical facelift is the method of choice.
Is the result natural or can you tell I've "had something done"?
When Liquid Facelifting is performed professionally, the result is harmonious, not artificial. At artethic® in Düsseldorf, no face is "filled up", but structurally stabilized along natural volume axes. The skin should look fresher, not changed.
At what age is a Liquid Facelift suitable?
There is no fixed age limit. Usually the method is suitable from mid/late 30s to the 50s, depending on the condition of connective tissue, skin structure and personal expectations. Younger patients also use skinboosters or light volume modeling for prevention.
Can I work or travel directly after the Liquid Facelift?
Usually yes. Light swelling or minor bruising is possible, but rarely so restrictive that you cannot fulfill your daily obligations. This also applies to travel. Solarium, sauna and intensive facial treatments should be avoided for about a week to avoid additional skin irritation.
How often should a Liquid Facelift be repeated?
The frequency depends on the product: Hyaluronic acid fillers can be refreshed after 7-18 months. Sculptra is usually built up 2-4 times and then lasts up to 24 months. Skinboosters are useful every 3-9 months. Important: This cannot be generalized, as every skin reacts differently. Your own metabolism, skin care, sun protection, sauna or weight loss also play a major role in durability.
