MCT Exosomes Treatment

MCT Exosomes for cellular regeneration of skin and hair1

With this treatment, we use the body's own exosomes. Unlike exosomes of plant or animal origin, these can be injected directly into the skin — with lasting results. MCT (Meta Cell Technology) multiplies the concentration of exosomes in the body's own plasma (
PRP

) many times over. Exosomes are regarded as the key to youthfully firm skin and healthy hair growth.

At a glance

  • Tolerability: biocompatible and free from additives
  • Combinable: with microneedling or radiofrequency
  • Treatment duration: approx. 45 minutes
  • Recommended: 3 sessions at 4-week intervals
  • Downtime: none to minimal

What makes Meta Cell Technology special

PRP

is processed in a specialised device using light and heat. The aim: to obtain the body's own exosomes. These stimulate cell communication and have been shown to support the regeneration of skin and hair follicles. In terms of efficacy, this method significantly surpasses conventional
PRP

treatments.

The benefits: increased cellular energy (ATP), enhanced release of growth factors, reduced inflammatory activity, improved communication between cells.

In short: an intensive "regenerative boost for skin and hair roots".

What is PRP?

PRP

(platelet-rich plasma) is derived from your own blood and contains a high concentration of growth factors. It supports cell regeneration and has been used in medicine for many years.

What are exosomes?

Exosomes are the body's own cellular messengers, extracted from blood plasma using MCT. They transmit signals — for example to promote healing, collagen formation, or hair growth — and are responsible for firm skin and dense hair.

When we use MCT

MCT for the skin: for loss of elasticity, fine skin texture, and early wrinkle formation; for scarred or dull-looking skin; as an anti-ageing treatment.

MCT for the hair: for premature, genetically determined hair loss; for diffuse hair thinning; to reactivate dormant hair follicles.

Is MCT (Meta Cell Technology) right for me?

We recommend the "MCT Exosomes" treatment for, among others: patients with premature skin ageing and declining hair follicle activity; individuals seeking a natural and long-lasting treatment.

MCT is not suitable in cases of active skin infections and inflammation, herpes, acne, eczema, dermatitis, etc.

1

Analysis and consultation

We will assess whether the treatment is suitable for you. This is based on a high-resolution 3D skin or hair analysis (VECTRA or Hairmetrix), which allows us to evaluate structure, density, and ageing processes with great precision.

2

Blood draw and preparation

PRP extraction from autologous blood.

3

MCT conditioning

Photothermally stimulated processing of PRP in the MCT device.

4

Application

Injection into the skin or scalp. Local anaesthetic available on request.

5

Aftercare

No downtime. Temporary redness possible.

Frequently asked questions

When will I notice the first improvements?

Typically 3 to 5 weeks after the first session. It is important to note that the effect builds up gradually and intensifies over several months. If you are looking for faster results — such as smoothing specific wrinkles — an additional aesthetic treatment may be worthwhile.

Are there any risks or side effects?

MCT (Meta Cell Plasma Exosome) is generally very well tolerated. After all, we use the body's own substances (PRP), which are processed and then reintroduced into the skin or scalp. Allergic reactions are therefore virtually ruled out. Temporary redness or minor bruising at the injection site is possible and normal immediately after treatment, but subsides quickly. Downtime is not generally required.

How does MCT differ from conventional PRP?

Unlike conventional PRP treatments, the regenerative processes are significantly enhanced by the light and heat applied by the MCT device, and the concentration of exosomes is increased. This in turn improves efficacy whilst also shortening the tissue's response time. You can therefore expect faster and more pronounced results.

How long do the results last?

This varies from person to person, but results typically last up to one year. Unlike filler or botulinum treatments, this is a longer-term improvement in skin quality. Top-up treatments are possible once the effect begins to diminish.

Is the treatment also worthwhile as a preventive measure?

Yes. At artethic® Dr. Schuhmann and colleagues, we recommend Meta Cell Technology (MCT) even before visible signs of ageing — such as fine lines, hollow areas, or hair loss — have appeared; for example, in cases of dull skin, thinning hair, or sun damage. The decisive factor is the current condition of the skin and hair roots.
