Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty is another term for surgical eyelid tightening of the upper or lower lids. Triggers for eyelid corrections include excess skin, sagging tissue, or fat deposits. Medical indications include visual field restrictions, for example with pronounced hooded eyelids. A common aesthetic reason is often restoring an alert, fresh appearance.
