What is the difference between a one-stitch facelift and a thread lift?
The difference between a one-stitch facelift and a thread lift lies in the removal of excess facial skin. In a one-stitch facelift, the excess skin is removed after lifting the facial muscles. With a thread lift, the facial skin is only lifted by inserting the threads, but the excess skin is not removed.
What is the difference between a one-stitch facelift and a mini facelift?
The one-stitch lift is superior to a mini facelift, where only the facial skin is pulled smooth and the excess skin is removed. With a mini facelift the actual problem of sagging facial features — caused by the slackened underlying tissue and muscles — is not treated. The success is therefore only short-term. The more effective one-stitch facelift tightens the facial muscles using absorbable sutures and removes excess skin. Sagging jowls disappear, nasolabial folds are smoothed and the jawline is contoured.

The result of the one-stitch facelift lasts around three years, depending on skin tissue and skin ageing.
