Breast Lift

In a breast lift (mastopexy), the connective tissue is tightened. At the same time, the breast is positioned somewhat higher as a result of the tightening. Causes of skin and tissue laxity include pregnancies, weight loss or gain, or age-related loss of elasticity. Depending on the initial situation, excess skin is also removed and the glandular tissue may be reshaped. If additional volume is desired, the lift can be combined with breast augmentation. The treatment goal is an anatomically appropriate breast shape.
