Malar Bags
Malar bags (also 'malar mounds' or festoons) are swellings below the eyes. Unlike under-eye bags, malar bags are located on the cheekbone. They develop, for example, from fatty tissue and/or lymph congestion. Artificial malar bags can form from suboptimal hyaluron injections in this area. Treatment of malar bags depends on individual severity and condition, ranging from lymph massage to skin tightening with radiofrequency to surgical procedures.
