Vampire Lift (PRP / PRF)
From a small volume of blood drawn from the arm vein, we obtain a concentrate of platelets and growth factors by centrifugation. These growth factors play a central role in natural wound healing; here they are used to stimulate skin renewal. Depending on the method, we distinguish between PRP and PRF. PRP is a liquid plasma that is injected directly or introduced in combination with microneedling. PRF additionally contains a fibrin matrix — a biological scaffold that releases growth factors over a longer period, thereby extending the duration of effect. The injected growth factors activate fibroblasts, the cells that produce collagen and elastin. Skin density increases, circulation improves, and the tissue regenerates structurally from within. Areas of application: Improvement of skin quality in the face, fine lines and a dull complexion, sensitive eye area, scar treatment, hair loss, through stimulation of the hair follicles. The effect does not occur immediately. New collagen formation takes time; the first changes are usually visible after several weeks. As a rule, multiple sessions at intervals of a few weeks are recommended. The result depends on individual factors: age, skin condition, metabolism, and lifestyle all influence how the tissue responds to treatment. Since exclusively autologous components are used, allergic reactions or foreign body reactions are generally not to be expected. Combinations with other procedures PRP and PRF can be combined with other regenerative methods, for example with autologous fat (nanofat), radiofrequency, or biostimulators.
