Rhinoplasty – Increased Nose Operations Due to Corona

The Corona period is bringing new trends – one of them: demand for cosmetic surgery is rising significantly. This is being reported by plastic surgeons at the spring conference of the Association of German Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (VDÄPC) in Düsseldorf.
Chiara Kleps (26) from Gevelsberg decided to have a rhinoplasty, for example. One reason: the mandatory mask requirement. "The face mask draws more attention to the eyes and nose," explains conference president Dr. Karl Schuhmann. At the same time, eyelid lifts are experiencing a boom.
Other procedures such as lip corrections and liposuction are also in greater demand. Working from home and reduced physical activity are leaving their mark – many people are using the time to carry out long-desired changes.
