What is a Bio-Facelift? The term "Bio-Facelift" does not describe a standalone facelift procedure. Rather, it refers to a complementary approach used within an operation. Using a fibrin sealant, the detached skin is reconnected to the underlying tissue layer. Fibrin is a natural component of the body's blood clotting. The use of the fibrin sealant is intended to: support healing allow the skin to lie more evenly reduce the risk of larger haematomas The sealant acts like a biological connecting layer between the skin and the subcutaneous tissue.
