Bright Eyes
The term Bright Eyes does not describe a single procedure, but rather a differentiated treatment concept for the region around the eyes. The focus is on changes in the area of the lower eyelid and the transition to the cheek. Typical features include thinning of the skin, volume loss in the tear trough area, fine crepey lines, and uneven light distribution. These factors cause the area to appear darker and more sunken, even without any true pigmentary change. Treatment is consistently guided by the underlying cause. In the case of a pronounced tear trough, a low-viscosity, softly cross-linked, and rather fluid hyaluronic acid may be used to smooth the transition between the eyelid and the cheek. Important: these are specialist hyaluronic acid products. Conventional hyaluronic acid fillers are not suitable for treatments in the vicinity of the eye! Where skin quality is reduced, regenerative treatments may be considered — for example PRP or biostimulators. These can strengthen the dermis and improve skin density. The primary treatment goal is not an increase in volume in the conventional sense. More important is a smooth, even transition without visible edges. This alters the way light is refracted in this area. Shadows recede, and the eye region appears clearer and less "tired". Dark circles under the eyes frequently have a structural cause. Thin skin and sunken areas allow vessels to show through more prominently or create shadows. A treatment approach focused purely on pigmentation falls short in such cases. Planning requires specialist medical experience and a precise understanding of anatomy. Small quantities, precise placement, and the correct indication determine whether the result appears natural.
