Hello, I am Laura Kock. Since successfully completing my medical degree in 2022, I have been passionately dedicated to plastic surgery. I am currently in the second half of my specialist training. Since April, I have been joining the team at the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the Huyssenstift in Essen, led by Prof. Björn Behr. Here, the focus is on reconstructive microsurgery following breast cancer. Alongside my work at the clinic, I expand my expertise in aesthetic surgery one day per week at the practice of Dr. Schuhmann & Kollegen.

Personal Philosophy
My particular interest lies in body-contouring surgery and aesthetic minimally invasive treatments, especially facial rejuvenation. I strive not only to enhance my patients' appearance but also to boost their confidence and overall wellbeing. It is important to me to listen carefully and to offer individually tailored solutions – solutions that emphasise natural beauty whilst delivering lasting results.
