Biostimulators at artethic® Düsseldorf

Everything about biostimulatorsEffects, applications, combinations & modern methods

At a glance

  • What are biostimulators?: Treatments that activate the skin's natural regeneration
  • Goals: more collagen, improved elasticity, a more youthful skin structure
  • Result: natural skin rejuvenation without an artificial effect
  • Suitable for: almost all age groups
  • Particularly effective: individually tailored combinations

At artethic®, our focus is on regenerative, skin-tightening combinations tailored to the current condition of your skin.

What biostimulators can achieve

Biostimulators deliver controlled impulses within the skin. They stimulate fibroblasts, support cell function, and promote the production of collagen and elastin.

What sets them apart from conventional fillers? Skin density and surface quality improve from within. Results develop gradually, appear highly natural, and can last for several years – depending on the method, the current skin condition, and skin quality.

Sculptra® (Poly-L-lactic acid)

Sculptra® is an intensive collagen stimulant that works over several months. The skin becomes firmer and regains its elasticity. The effect builds up slowly and evenly.

Top recommendation: For declining skin density, fine lines, and early signs of laxity in the face or along the jawline.

Goal: Long-term structural rebuilding and natural skin rejuvenation.

Autologous exosomes (MCT)

These tiny messenger molecules regulate cell communication. In aesthetic medicine at artethic®, we use them for regeneration (skin renewal).Learn more about exosome treatment in Düsseldorf

Top recommendation: For stressed, lax (atrophic) skin or following radiofrequency or laser treatments.

Goal: Faster healing, improved skin quality, and a more even complexion.

PRP & PRF (extended Vampire Lift)

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and PRF (a fibrin-rich form with filler-like properties) are derived from the patient's own blood and are rich in growth factors. They support skin renewal.

When combined with exosomes, we refer to this as an extended Vampire Lift.

Top recommendation: For tired, dull skin, crepey lines, or as a complement following aesthetic treatments.

Goal: A fresher radiance, improved circulation, and subtle lifting effects.

Polynucleotides

Polynucleotides activate skin rebuilding and inhibit inflammatory processes. They strengthen skin structure sustainably and are particularly well tolerated.

Top recommendation: For sensitive, thin skin and the eye area.

Goal: Stabilisation, hydration, and a finer skin texture.

Biostimulating radiofrequency (Morpheus8 & Quantum RF)

Radiofrequency generates heat impulses in the deeper layers of the skin. These impulses stimulate enhanced collagen formation and gentle tightening. Learn more about Morpheus8 and Quantum RF Face.

Top recommendation: For lax skin, poorly defined contours, and jawline definition.

Goal: Firmer skin, fewer wrinkles, improved structure, and defined contours.

Needling and mesotherapy

Microneedling and mesotherapy also have a biostimulating effect. Combined active ingredients smooth the skin, calm or stimulate it, and strengthen the skin barrier.

Top recommendation: For uneven skin texture, enlarged pores, and crepey lines.

Goal: A smoother surface, a more even complexion, and a radiant glow.

Nano- and microfat

Both options are derived from the patient's own body fat but differ in their effects:

Microfat: Subtle volume enhancement with an additional regenerative effect

Nanofat: For broad-area skin improvement, primarily biostimulating

Top recommendation: Nanofat is particularly suited to the face and eye area for skin rejuvenation.

Goal: Regeneration, improved skin texture, and a natural glow.

Skinboosters and Profhilo (soft biostimulation)

Skinboosters and Profhilo provide intensive hydration while simultaneously and gently stimulating collagen production across a broad area.

Top recommendation: For dry, fine skin or as a revitalising boost.

Goal: Greater hydration, smoothness, and luminosity.

NCTF biorevitalisation

NCTF contains skin-strengthening vitamins, amino acids, antioxidants, and hyaluronic acid. A high-performance blend that stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen and improves cell function.

Top recommendation: As a course of treatment or in combination with fractional radiofrequency.

Goal: Regeneration, glow, and long-term skin improvement.

Why combinations work better

Biostimulators work best in combination with one another. An example:

Sculptra® and Morpheus8

  • Morpheus8 first, then Sculptra
  • Morpheus8 initiates the repair process
  • thermal activation
  • collagen remodelling
  • tightening
  • Enhanced collagen formation
  • Morpheus8 activates signalling pathways (Wnt, TGF-β)
  • Fibroblasts enter working mode
  • Sculptra promotes fibroblast proliferation
  • Skin becomes denser & more stable

Who are biostimulators suitable for?

Younger patients: Subtle age correction, prevention

Middle age: Structural rebuilding, fine lines, glow

Mature skin: Complement to surgical treatments

After facelifts: Improvement of skin quality

Frequently asked questions

Why are biostimulators a particularly natural approach to skin rejuvenation?

The change is not created "from the outside". We simply provide the stimulus; skin renewal and smoothing are the result of the skin's own internal processes. Facial features are not altered. Results develop gradually.

When are biostimulators appropriate?

Biostimulators can be used both preventively and correctively. Younger patients benefit from stabilisation of skin quality, while more mature skin benefits from structural rebuilding. They are less suited to cases of complete volume loss or significant skin excess, where other or complementary treatments are usually required.

Why are combinations considered particularly effective?

Because skin ageing is complex and affects multiple levels. Treatments such as radiofrequency or laser provide the structural stimulus, biostimulators promote rebuilding, and biorevitalisation improves cell function and hydration. Only by combining these levels can stable, long-lasting results be achieved.

How long does it take for results to become visible?

Some effects, such as improved hydration or a radiant glow, are visible immediately after treatment. The actual collagen-building process takes time. Visible structural changes – a firmer and more resilient skin – typically develop over several weeks to months.

Are biostimulators also worthwhile as a complement to facelifts?

After a facelift, biostimulators can improve skin quality, support regeneration, and stabilise the result. We recommend the treatment preventively and to strengthen skin texture.

Do biostimulators have side effects?

As with all minimally invasive treatments, temporary reactions such as mild redness or swelling are possible. Individual skin response plays a role in this.

What makes treatments using autologous substances such as PRP, exosomes, or autologous fat so special?

Biostimulating treatments with PRP, PRF, autologous exosomes, or nano- and microfat improve skin quality without introducing any foreign material. These treatments are generally better tolerated and offer more sustainable results. Autologous fat can in some cases produce lasting effects.
