Chemical Peel

Chemical peels use substances such as fruit acids, trichloroacetic acid, vitamin A, or phenols. The outermost skin layer is controlled exfoliated and skin regeneration is stimulated. Chemical peels are considered for uneven skin, severe keratinization, blemishes and acne, or certain pigmentation disorders. Medical peels differ significantly from cosmetic exfoliation treatments. Depending on skin condition, superficial, medium-depth, or deep peels are used. Qualified application and thorough skin analysis are important. Mild to moderate skin irritation is normal after a medical peel and typically subsides within a few days. Multiple treatments as part of a treatment series are almost always required.
