Contouring
The term contouring describes the targeted modelling of the face or body through surgical or non-surgical procedures. The aim is to accentuate natural contours (the jawline, cheekbones) and to harmonise proportions. On the face, hyaluronic acid fillers, autologous fat, or modern radiofrequency techniques (e.g. Quantum RF, Morpheus 8) are frequently used; on the body, liposuction or combined fat-reduction procedures with skin tightening. Contouring itself is not a standardised procedure but an individually tailored approach that requires specialist medical and surgical qualifications. An advanced aesthetic sensibility is equally important.
