Dermabrasion
Dermabrasion is a mechanical, intensive skin resurfacing procedure in which the upper layer of skin is removed using a rotating abrasion head. It improves scars, pigmentation irregularities and coarse skin texture, resulting in a smoother surface — particularly on more robust skin. The medical and more intensive form of dermabrasion is performed in medical practices, whilst its milder form (comparable to a peel) is offered in beauty studios.
