Injection Lipolysis

Injection lipolysis ('fat-dissolving injection') serves to reduce small fat deposits that do not respond to diet or exercise. A lipolytic agent, usually based on phosphatidylcholine, is injected into the subcutaneous fatty tissue and dissolves fat cells there. Results appear after several weeks. The method is not a substitute for liposuction but can be used in limited areas, such as double chin or hip region.
