PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin)

PRF is a variant of PRP therapy and is based on the patient's own blood. Following preparation at the practice, a fibrin network of growth factors and regenerative cells with a gel-like consistency is produced. In contrast to PRP, the growth factors are released more slowly and over a longer period of time. Tissue regeneration is supported over the course of days to weeks. In aesthetic medicine, PRF is used to improve skin quality, promote regeneration, and reduce fine lines, for example in the face or eye area. As exclusively autologous material is used, PRF is very well tolerated and is suitable for patients who wish to achieve natural skin rejuvenation without foreign substances.
