Shape Up
"Shape Up" refers to a structured approach to facial contouring. The focus is on restoring clearly defined lines in the lower and middle thirds of the face. With advancing age, bony and soft-tissue structures lose definition. The jawline appears less sharp, the tissue in the cheek area descends, and the chin becomes less clearly pronounced. These changes affect both volume and the static stability of the tissue. The treatment targets load-bearing structures. Cohesive hyaluronic acids with greater tissue adherence or biostimulators such as poly-L-lactic acid are used. These are applied along key anatomical areas, such as the mandibular angle, along the mandible, or in the region of the anterior cheek body. This placement creates structural support points within the tissue. The contour appears sharper, and the tissue regains definition. At the same time, mild descents can be indirectly compensated for without overfilling central areas. A typical example is the jawline. Rather than adding volume across a broad surface, defined points are built up along the mandibular arch. The result is a more sharply defined line with a natural transition zone. The treatment requires a detailed analysis of facial proportions and the underlying bony framework. The aim is to achieve an individually tailored structure that is suited to each patient's anatomy.
