Hip Dips
Hip dips are lateral indentations below the hip bones, formed by the individual pelvic structure and the distribution of adipose and muscle tissue. They are not a malformation but rather an anatomical variant. In slender individuals they are often more pronounced, as there is less adipose tissue available to fill out the contour. Correction involves filling the indentation by means of lipofilling (injection of processed autologous fat), resulting in a softer, more flowing hip line.
