Cosmetic Procedures During the Corona Lockdown

The RTL magazine reports on the effects of the Corona pandemic on plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures. The number of cosmetic procedures has risen since last year. Eyelid lifts, brow lifts, facelifts, liposuction – all of these are cosmetic surgeries in high demand during the pandemic.

The mask mandate and the increased shift to working from home are changing the way people look at themselves in the mirror. While wearing a mask, the eyes become the focal point, and online meetings are altering the way people perceive their own face. "I have to look at myself unfiltered the entire time during online meetings," says influencer Stefanie Gebhardt, known for example from the Bachelor season 2019.
