Skin Resurfacing in Düsseldorf
Auf dieser Seite
When looking in the mirror, it is sometimes not a single line but the overall picture that concerns you: a dull complexion, enlarged pores, fine crinkle lines, or contours that have lost their definition. What is missing can be summed up in one word: firmness. In the tissue, in the expression, in the complexion.
With
Skin Resurfacing
using
Morpheus8
, we address precisely that: losses that are not concealed but rebuilt – from within. Through deep thermal energy, fractional radiofrequency, and the stimulus for new collagen, elastin, and
hyaluronic acid
formation.
Depending on the current condition of your skin, we combine this with further methods – for example
FaceTite
for
jawline
contouring (a firmer
jawline
).
At a glance
- Method: Combination of radiofrequency and micro-invasive stimulation
- Area of application: Crinkle lines, lax and uneven skin, double chin, enlarged pores, irregular skin texture
- Effect: Stimulation of collagen formation & skin rejuvenation, remodelling
- Duration: approx. 30–60 minutes
- Recommended number of sessions: 2–3 sessions depending on findings
Minimal downtime. Mild redness or swelling possible for 1–3 days
What happens during Skin Resurfacing?
No volume, no
filler
, no skin that is "merely" better perfused.
Skin Resurfacing
works at a deeper level – where elasticity originates: in the skin's collagen framework. With
Morpheus8
and
FaceTite
, we work not at the surface but in the deeper layers. Precisely where tissue can be tightened and structures renewed.
Morpheus8
A combination of needling and radiofrequency. The needles penetrate up to 7 mm into the tissue, deliver energy, and stimulate the skin to produce collagen and elastin.
Result: firmer, smoother, and more even skin.
FaceTite
Works where small deposits of fat are a concern. At the chin, along the
jawline
, and at the transition to the neck. Through thermally controlled radiofrequency energy, fat cells can be liquefied and the skin tightened, depending on the settings used.
Result: more defined contours
Both treatments are precisely controllable, act at depth, and yet remain gentle.
Effects of Skin Resurfacing: smoother, more even skin
After a few weeks you will see the first effects: the skin appears calmer, firmer, and more defined. Its structure has improved. Possible improvements:
The skin's elasticity becomes noticeably firmer.
The complexion appears smoother and pore structure finer.
Skin tone, spots, and discolouration become brighter.
The contour of the lower third of the face becomes firmer – particularly at the chin and the transition to the neck.
Fine crinkle lines are reduced – especially on the cheeks, under the eyes, or on the neck.
At the same time, the tendency towards rapid laxity decreases. Collagen regeneration is activated and continues for months.
Optional: combination with other treatments

Treatment process and details
The treatment takes approximately 30 to 60 minutes. A mild sensation of warmth, localised redness, or swelling are possible, usually only for a short time. Within a few days your skin will feel calmer; within several weeks, firmer. The actual remodelling process – and with it the ongoing improvement in skin quality – continues in the background for up to six months.
Frequently asked questions
When is Skin Resurfacing with Morpheus8 and FaceTite appropriate – and when is it less so?
Skin Resurfacing is not a reset button, but it is an intensive stimulus for regeneration. It is the right choice when you do not wish to change your appearance fundamentally, but rather to improve your skin structurally. Particularly well suited for: - fine lines and early tissue laxity - enlarged pores and an uneven complexion - crinkle lines on the cheeks or neck - soft contours in the chin and neck area - small localised fat deposits, e.g. a double chin - pigment irregularities caused by sun or environmental damage A good option when the complexion no longer looks fresh, but surgical intervention is not yet indicated. Less suitable for: - pronounced volume loss (→ biostimulators or a facelift may be more appropriate) - active inflammation, e.g. rosacea or acne - pregnancy or breastfeeding (treatment is postponed) - patients taking anticoagulant medication (medical consultation required) - unrealistic expectations (Skin Resurfacing is a biological, not a magical, process) In our medical consultation we always ask first: what does your skin need, and what genuinely makes sense? Because not every complexion benefits to the same degree – and sometimes less is more.
Is Skin Resurfacing suitable for men?
Yes, absolutely. And it is increasingly in demand – particularly for enlarged pores, visible loss of elasticity, or more defined jawline contouring. The treatment can be finely calibrated to suit every skin type. Many of our male patients at our Düsseldorf practice appreciate the subtle yet clearly visible results.
How long do the results last?
The results of Skin Resurfacing build gradually over several weeks and, depending on skin type, age, and lifestyle, often last for more than a year. With regular top-up treatments the outcome can be prolonged and the biological ageing of the skin at least slowed.
Can pigmentation irregularities be treated at the same time?
This is possible where the pigmentation changes are harmless and superficial. Morpheus8 also improves the complexion through the skin renewal process. As a general principle, all pigmentation irregularities must be individually assessed by a specialist physician before Skin Resurfacing is carried out.
